Cuisine Italian
- 1 lb ground italian sausage (you can also use ground beef)
- 1 medium yellow onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
- 1 bag frozen cheese ravioli
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 4 tablespoon butter
- ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Brown your italian sausage, onion and ½ of your garlic in a pan, seasoning with italian seasoning and crushed red pepper and set aside.
In the same pan, make your alfredo sauce. Start by melting your butter, saute the rest of your garlic only until it becomes fragrant.
Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer on medium heat.
Add parmesan cheese and stir until dissolved.
In your casserole dish, add frozen ravioli and top with your italian sausage mixture.
Pour your alfredo sauce over the entire mixture. It will be a little thin, but that's okay because it will thicken as it bakes.
Top with mozzarella cheese. Cover with foil, and bake for 25 minutes.
Remove foil after 25 minutes and bake uncovered for 15 more minutes.
Serve with a salad and bread and enjoy!
